The bathroom felt like an afterthought with poorly done installations!!! The carpet was unclean and the wifi connection was inadequate, making streaming impossible!!! A properly functioning toilet should be a basic standard!!!

I was in the area for a short visit to explore the beautiful attractions around Balloch, particularly the Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre which is a short walk away. The room was clean with a cute garden view that added a peaceful touch to my stay. I also appreciated the really good tea and coffee options available. It was great to be so close to both the local eateries and the amazing sights like the SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium just a stone's throw away.

the glenfern was a fantastic stay! it's conveniently located close to the railway station, making it easy to explore the area. my son and I loved our clean and comfortable twin room. tea and coffee facilities were well stocked, and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal just a short walk away.

the glenfern is in a convenient location, very close to the loch lomond shores with various eating places within walking distance. the room was fresh and clean, and i enjoyed the powerful, hot shower. lots of teabags and extra biscoff were a nice touch!
